Shock Rated
Elecsis designs and manufacture switchgear and control equipment tested to various level of shock and pulse duration suitable for use on both surface vessels and submarines.
Our designs are modelled to determine the shock mount requirement to achieve the correct level of attenuation before manufacture and to meet requirements of our type tested designs.
When necessary additional type testing is carried out for new designs and varying shock levels. An example of one of our shock rated switchboard is shown below, and is designed for a 440V 60Hz 3000A 85kA system.
