Thai Frigate
Elecsis are designing, and manufacturing a range of shock tested LV switchgear and control equipment for The Navantia Frigate for Thailand. The equipment will be tested to a high level of shock in a UK based test facility to prove the equipment’s suitability for the vessel.
The new frigate will be built in DSME’s Okpo yard and be 4,000 tonnes, costing around $453m, and expected to be commissioned in two years.
